Comin’ up with another cracker made from Pais, is the Dude Roberto Henriquez! Possibly Chile’s Nicest winemaker - Roberto works with wild ancient vines typically aged over 100+ years old. Small quantities are yielded from gnarly ungrafted vines to produce herbaceous and reserved delicate wines. Made with a forgotten spanish variety called Pais (Listan Prieto), it’s profile has intriguing herbal quality on the nose, with cranberry, candied rhubarb & redcurrant profile on the palate. Light, balanced and floatless on the tongue. Serve with a slight shiver.
